The Art of the Hunt is a week long celebration of wildlife art, local hunting culture and conservancy that includes four exclusive events: Whiskey & Wildlife, Field & Vine, Fawn & Feathers and The Hunt Dinner & Auction. Each event offers a unique experience with exceptional menus and programs for all ages and interests.

This year's gentleman's event features guest speaker and author, Charlie English. Chris Wilson, Sculptor
Opening Reception | January 16, 5:30 - 7:00 pm

Chris Wilson, founder and owner of Wilson Wildlife Sculpture, began his career over 40 years ago. His training and attention to detail have culminated in over 100 best of show awards; among them include Best of Show in 3D and People’s Choice Award at the Nature Works Art Show in 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2024.

Chris’ work is inspired by nature. The beauty of birds and their ability to fly captivates him. In 2001, Chris traced the journey of his ancestor, William Bartram, through parts of the Southeast. Bartram – America’s first naturalist artist – was the first to describe many birds, plants, and animals. Wildlife, such as a great blue heron, ancient stand of trees, and primeval wilderness overwhelmed Chris with a spiritual feeling; others can experience this emotion through Chris’ fervent sculptures. In a statement by Chris, he states, “I have been blessed with a talent that I love sharing with others, and I aspire to create one-of-a-kind sculptures that can be enjoyed for generations.”

To gear up for our Live Auction happening tomorrow night during the 32nd Annual Hunt Dinner, we want to share a few of the items up for auction. So grab your friends and make your plans, because we've got some great lots for group travel and couples!

This amazing 15,500 sq ft villa with 7 suites sleeps up to 14 guests. Located on top of a mountain with majestic views of Playa Hermosa, 4 volcanos and the Pacific Ocean. The villa amenities include formal dining room, chef pantry, wine closet, game room with professional poker table, Galaga, Pacman arcade, grand great room with Atmos sound system with an 85" TV, elevator, covered outdoor kitchen and terrace, business center, second floor coffee bar, swim up pool bar, in-pool loungers, 40-ft salt mineral infinity pool, third floor Sky Deck with party bar, covered outdoor yoga area and gym plus massage tables. Each private suite has ocean views, private bathrooms and designed after past famous artists around the world.
